I. The League

The Crash Davis Baseball League is designed to give fans of our National Pastime
the opportunity to manage their own major league baseball team. Standings will
be determined by how a team performs in 10 statistical categories.

The 10 categories are:

1.) Home Runs

2.) Runs Batted In

3.) Runs Scored

4.) Stolen Bases

5.) Batting Average

6.) Wins

7.) Saves

8.) WHIP Ratio--Walks + Hits/Innings Pitched

9.) Earned Run Average

10.) Strikeouts

The leader in each category will be given "x" number of points ("x" being equal
to the number of teams in the league, second place gets "x-1", third place
gets "x-2", etc. The point values are then added up to determine the current
standings. Calculations will be updated daily on our website.

II. The Draft

In the initial draft, each team owner will have 300 bidding dollars. With these
dollars, each team must assemble a complete roster(see "Rosters"). The bidding
order will be determined by a random drawing before the draft.

In subsequent drafts, each team will begin the draft with 200 bidding dollars
and 10 players who are protected from the previous season. You may, however,
protect as few as 7 and get 7 additional dollars for each protected spot that
goes unused. The draft order will be determined by the standings in the previous
season, with the last place team going first.

The draft will work in the following manner: the owner with current pick will
present a player and an opening bid. Each team will then be open to place a
bid until no more bids are placed and a high bid is achieved. The player will
go to the highest bidder. Each team will draft a complete 24 man roster (see
"Rosters"), and there must be at least 1 dollar available for each open spot

remaining.

Players on the disabled list will be available for bidding. At the end of the
draft, teams that have a player on the disabled list will be able choose replacements
from the free agent pool. Teams will be able to choose their players in the

same order they drafted, until all rosters are at 24 players.

III. Rosters

Each team in the C.D.B.L. will consist of 24 players. 14 players are position
players, and 10 players are pitchers. Each roster will consist of: 2 catchers,
1 first baseman, 1 second baseman, 1 third baseman, 1 shortstop, 5 outfielders,
1 middle infielder, 1 corner infielder, 1 utility player, and 10 pitchers.

During the baseball season, each team will maintain a 24 man squad. For a player
to be placed into a defensive position, he must qualify for the position by
either: (a) having played at least 20 games at that position during the previous
year, or (b) having played at least 1 game at that position during the current
year.

A. Trading

During the season, through August 31, each team will be allowed an unlimited
amount of trades with other teams in the C.D.B.L. Any amount of players can
be included in each trade, including those on the disabled list. For each open
roster spot after a trade, a player must be picked up from the free agent pool
(see "free agents").

All trades must be completed by 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time on SUNDAY in order
to take effect for the following week.

Trading during the off-season begins on December 1. Open roster spots created
through off-season trades will not be filled.

B. Free Agents

Players who are currently not on a roster will be considered free agents. Free
agents can be picked up throughout the season from the "Available Players"
pool, through August 31. Each team is allowed 1 free agent pick up per week.
Teams will choose their players in reverse order of the current standings.
(The last place team will get first choice, the 7th place team will get second
choice, etc.) A claim list should be submitted via e-mail to the Commisioner.
All free agent claims must be made by 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time on SUNDAY in
order to take effect for the following week.

Released players will immediately enter the "Available Players" pool and will
be available for pick up the following week.

C. Disabled List

Players who are officially put on the disabled list by their real teams will
be eligible to be put on the DL by their owner. A replacement player can be
chosen from the "Available Players" pool. DL claims will be filled each week
before free agent claims. Changes must be made by 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time on
SUNDAY in order to take effect for the following week.

D. Players Traded to the National League

If a player currently on a roster is traded to the National League, the owner
will have rights above and beyond all others to the player traded to the American
League, until 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time on SUNDAY of the week of the trade. After
that, the player is automatically put into the available pool. In the event
that there are multiple players on multiple teams involved in the trade, priority
will be given to the team lower in the standings.

Players going to the National League during the off-season will not be replaced.

IV. Fees and Prizes

The C.D.B.L. is a free league. The only fee for the league will be an amount
to be to determined for a league trophy.

The winner of the C.D.B.L. will have their name engraved on a league trophy,
which will be presented to them to keep at the conclusion of the season, until
the conclusion of the following season.

V. Compensation Draft

At the conclusion of each season, the top 4 teams must submit a list of 8 players
that will be put into a "Compensation Pool. The remaining teams will be allowed
to pick up to 3 players from the pool. The draft will take place in reverse
order of finish in the most current season. For each player chosen in the "Compensation
Draft", a player must be dropped, so that no team ever has more than 24 players.
After the conclusion of the draft, all undrafted players will go back to their

respective teams. Any open roster spots on the top 4 teams will remain open
during the off-season.

VI. Expansion

The C.D.B.L. will allow expansion up to a maximum of 9 teams. If expansion
does take place, there will be an "Expansion Draft". For the expansion draft,
each team will submit a list of 10 players. The 10 players will consist of
5 players designated as "A" players and 5 players designated as "B" players.
The incoming team will pick 1 player from each team's "A" list and 2 players
from each team's "B" list. The 3 roster spots opened up each team will not
be filled during the off-season.

VII. In Case of Controversy

Should there be any controversy concerning any interpretation of any article
herein or a situation not covered herein, the Commissioner (Gabe Converse)
shall make a swift decision after hearing both sides of the issue at hand.

Should a matter in question involve the team owned by the Commissioner, a ruling
will be made by the Deputy Commissioner (Arthur Dougherty).

Any issue involving a rule change or a rule not stated in this Constitution
will be voted on by all members of the C.D.B.L. (see "Voting").

VIII. Voting

All voting will take place on draft day, prior to drafting. In order for an
issue to pass, it must have a minimum of 5 supporting votes. All rules changes
will take effect immediately.
