Lee will not be able to compete at UFC 216 due to a USADA regulation under the UFC that states she has to be part of their testing pool for at least six months prior to a fight due to a past violation, Guilherme Cruz of MMAFighting.com reports.
Lee was set to make her debut with the UFC against fellow newcomer Kalindra Faria, but that dream will have to wait. The Legacy FC flyweight champion isn't allowed to compete under the UFC due to one of the promotion's rules through the USADA that requires past violators to participate in their testing pool for at least six months. Lee failed a drug test given by the Nevada Athletic Commission in March 2016 when she tested positive for diuretics. While she has competed four times already this year, she was not part of the testing pool that allows the USADA to test fighters at their discretion. During this time, fighters may be required to provide at least two negative samples. "KGB" will be allowed to compete after the testing period is complete and is expected to make her debut soon after. A replacement for the fight has not yet been named but UFC brass is searching for an opponent for Faria.

Fantasy AnalysisLee (8-2) is thought to be one of the best flyweights around. The 28-year-old has won four in a row including a LFA title defense over Jamie Thornton on Sept. 22. She has also spent considerable time with Invicta FC where she has a 4-2 record. Lee also has considerable background in Muay Thai and boxing, where she has claimed multiple amateur championship titles. This short notice addition to UFC 216 will showcases two promotional newcomers and has the possibility of replacing the recently cancelled VanZant v. Eye matchup on the main card.
