Daly had a solid first round, rough second round and a dominant third round. The Irish fighter spent the final five minutes unloading on Almeida's face, ensuring that she got the decision victory. It was a nice bounce back effort for Daly after a lousy performance in a unanimous decision loss to Randa Markos in her last fight. A fight in which Daly missed weight. An argument can be made that Daly is a top-15 strawweight, but it seems unlikely that she has the ability to crack the top-10.
