Headed for Fight Island
Ramos' scheduled lightweight matchup against Arman Tsarukyan is not set to take place July 18 on Fight Island, Marcel Dorff of MMADNA reports.

Ramos is looking to get back on track after a loss to Islam Makhachev back in September that snapped a four-fight winning streak. Ramos managed just seven significant strikes landed in the three-round affair, and has historically had more success with wrestling than striking over his six bouts with the company. He'll be giving up a few inches in height and reach to Tasrukyan -- a fighter who is 1-1 with the UFC and coming off a victory over Olivier Aubin-Mercier last July.

This led to Ramos trying to blitz in and make something happen in the third round, which resulted in him eating a knee and spending the rest of the fight on his back. This fight hearkened back to Ramos' first in the Octagon, when he faced another strong grappler in Sergio Moraes. The result was eerily similar. Ramos falls to 10-3 in professional MMA as a result of the loss.
