Dana White dismissive of comeback
UFC President Dana White said during Tuesday's media lunch that he doesn't want to see Rousey return to the Octagon, though he did acknowledge that she has not officially retired, MMAFighting.com reports.

Rousey last competed in the UFC 11 months ago, when she suffered her second consecutive knockout defeat at the hands of current champion Amanda Nunes. She has been quiet in the media about her loss, though the former champion has yet to come out and formally put an end to her fighting career. It's unclear if Rousey continues to train, but because she technically isn't retired, USADA continues to show up at her door for periodic drug tests. As such, the door may be open if she ever wants to return, though Rousey does have plenty of other lucrative opportunities in the entertainment business to keep her busy.

After back-to-back KO losses, however, the former champion has lost much of that allure and marketability. That being said, Rousey would likely be favored against the great majority of the women's bantamweight roster if she were to choose to continue, and 29 years old is typically the prime of most fighters' careers. Rather than risk her long-term health, however, it's possible she'll be content to "ride off into the sunset" and explore opportunities outside the octagon. One thing is for certain: if Rousey ever does decide to return to combat sports, she needs to hire a respectable coach that can play to her strengths, as well as elect a camp that will allow her to hone her skills by sparring against other elite fighters.

Ronda allowed Nunes to stalk her from the moment the opening bell rang and she didn't come remotely close to defending herself at any point and time. As everyone knows, Rousey did no press events leading up to this fight. It was the wrong decision on the UFC's part to allow her to avoid those obligations and their decision looks even worse right now.
