Sprint Cup
July 29, 2013
Riggs will not race in the GoBowling.com 400 at Pocono on Sunday, Bob Pockrass of Sporting News reports.
ANALYSIS
Riggs hasn’t finished higher than 41st in six starts this year, so he wouldn’t have been a very smart pickup anyway. It’s a better idea to keep an eye on him in the Camping World Truck Series where he’s finished in the Top 10 three times in seven starts this season.

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2014
2008
2006
Riggs hasn't been active in NASCAR since 2014 and is assumed to be retired.
Riggs signed a five-race deal with RBR to start the 2013 truck series season. He will run the full schedule in the No. 92 truck if more sponsorship can be found. This driver and team have some upside among the other small teams in the Camping World Truck Series.
Riggs assumes the driving duties for the third Evernham Racing team. This team was part time prior to 2006, so the growing pains could limit the potential some. Riggs may be good for seven or eight top 10's in 2006.
