Gus Frerotte: Hand Injury is Minor -
9/28/2008 5:25:01 PM
Update:
Frerotte got two stitches on his non-throwing hand, but says he should be fine to play next week. "I think one of those hard-plastic things cut open a blood vessel in my hand," he told the
St. Paul Pioneer Press. Frerotte was 25-for-43 for 266 yards, no touchdowns and an interception in Sunday's loss to Tennessee.
Recommendation:
Frerotte left Sunday's game in the fourth quarter after throwing a key interception from his own end zone when he cut his hand. This injury looks minor and he should start again next week despite the struggles of the offense on Sunday.
