Update:
Counsell (right rib fracture) will begin a minor-league rehab assignment for the Diamondbacks on Thursday, the Arizona Republic reports.

Recommendation:
Counsell will be the DH on Thursday and Friday for Triple-A Tucson. He'll then join high Single-A Lancaster for two games in the field before likely joining the Diamondbacks in San Francisco on Monday.
