Update:
Burriss injured his left oblique muscle in San Francisco's game on Monday and could be out for the remainder of the season, the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Recommendation:
This is a real bummer, as Burriss had been coming up with some real nice production of late. Ivan Ochoa and Omar Vizquel will likely platoon at shortstop in Burriss' place while Eugenio Velez will take over sole duty at second base.
