Middlesbrough has announced it will not renew the contracts of free agents Fabio Rochemback, Gaizka Mendieta and Korean Lee Dong-Gook.

Rochemback and Mendieta have been major dissapointments. Rochemback was once a member of Brazil’s national team and Mendieta is best remembered for being one of world soccer's biggest transfer busts as Italian club Lazio once paid 26 million British pounds for the player.
