Milner scored twice from the spot, his only two shot attempts, in Saturday's 5-1 win over Hull City.

A torrid Liverpool attack had the Hull defense completely overwhelmed for much of the game, and Milner was the beneficiary of a pair of penalties drawn. He now has three goals this year, all coming from the spot. He's not a big scorer otherwise, and likely cannot sustain high fantasy production.

The Armband: FPL Gameweek 7 Captaincy Analysis

Zlatan Ibrahimovic came up flat last weekend for fantasy owners, but Adam Zdroik explains why the Manchester United striker should get serious attention for the captain's armband this weekend against Stoke.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Milner tallied an assist in Saturday's 4-1 victory over Leicester City.

The remarkably out-of-place Milner, pressed into duty at left back thanks to the ineffectiveness of Alberto Moreno, can still be a force in the attack, picking out Roberto Firmino in the 13th minute to give the Reds the early advantage. While he was a little more stout defensively on Saturday against the talented duo of Shinji Okazaki and Riyad Mahrez, the 30-year-old is not the long-term answer for Liverpool at left back.

Milner converted a penalty kick in Saturday's 1-1 draw with Tottenham Hotspur.

Milner's not a big goal scorer, having scored just 42 Premier League goals in his 419 match career in the English top flight. However, from the spot, the 30-year-old was as confident as any, calmly slotting the ball into the bottom corner of the goal. Playing in a somewhat unfamiliar left back role ahead of the oft-maligned Alberto Moreno, Milner will need to balance his new-found defensive responsibilities with his role in the Reds attack.

Milner (heel) is starting on Saturday against Burnley.

Milner was held out of Liverpool's league opener last weekend against Arsenal, and while he'll get back in the first XI, he'll do so at leftback in place of Alberto Moreno, who struggled in their first match.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Milner could return from his heel injury to start at left back on Saturday against Burnley, the Liverpool Echo reports.

Alberto Moreno struggled mightily in Liverpool's opener against Arsenal on Sunday, including committing a foul in the box. Milner missed the match due to his injury, but his versatility will certainly come in handy for a Liverpool side that's rather light in defensive reinforcements.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Milner (heel) is not in the 18-man squad to face Arsenal on Sunday.

Milner was unable to train this week due to the injury, and he unsurprisingly fails to make the game-day squad. Adam Lallana will start alongside Jordan Henderson, with Georginio Wijnaldum and Sadio Mane on the attacking wings against the Gunners.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Milner (heel) has not trained this week and appears unlikely to play on Sunday against Arsenal, the Liverpool Echo reports.

Milner has been dealing with the heel issue for a few weeks, and given the layoff in training, it seems like a long shot that he'll be fit enough to face the Gunners. His absence opens up a big spot in the Reds' midfield, with Jordan Henderson likely to slot in.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Milner suffered a heel injury during Saturday's friendly against Barcelona, with manager Jurgen Klopp saying "it doesn't look too good."

Milner will undergo a scan to help determine the severity of the injury, but with the issue propping up soon before the Premier League opener, it wouldn't be surprising to see his season debut delayed.
