Milner assisted on Sergio Aguero's 88th minute goal during Manchester City's 2-0 win over Aston Villa on Saturday.

Milner has gotten more playing time of late with Samir Nasri sidelined with a groin injury, though he doesn't have nearly the upside of the Frenchman. Nasri is expected to return after the international break, so Milner could be back on the bench for City's match against Tottenham on Oct. 18.

Milner picked up an assist in Manchester City's 3-2 win over Everton on Saturday.

Milner, who is getting more playing time with Jesus Navas and David Silva both sidelined with ankle injuries, now has one goal and four assists in 29 Premier League appearances this season. With Navas and Silva unlikely to return for the final two games of the season, Milner should continue to see increased playing time.

Milner assisted on Martin Demichelis' goal in the 88th minute of Manchester City's 5-0 win over Fulham on Saturday.

Getting a rare start in Premier League play, Milner collected his second assist in league play this season. The start was Milner's first in 2014 and he remains a very unreliable fantasy player.

Tottenham may make a move for Milner this summer in an attempt to solidify the core team, while giving the midfielder more first-team action, reports the Daily Mail.

The London side is reportedly interested in rebuilding the squad around young English players, while getting rid of some players previous manager Andre Villas-Boas brought in. Milner has one year remaining on his contract with Manchester City, and could find greater playing options in London.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Milner (groin) was available off the bench for Monday's match at Manchester City, although he did not feature.

Milner was expected to return to action from a groin injury this coming Saturday, so it is certainly good news that he was fit enough to at least be on the bench for Monday's match. He doesn't get nearly enough playing time to be a legitimate fantasy contributor, so while his healthy status is a positive development, it likely doesn't affect too many fantasy teams in standard leagues.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Milner is out for Wednesday's Premier League match against Tottenham due to his groin injury, according to Stuart Brennan of the Manchester Evening News.

Milner wasn't expected to return to Wednesday's match, so there's really no surprise here. He'll most likely make it back to fitness ahead of City's match against Norwich City on February 8.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Milner failed a late fitness test ahead of Saturday's FA Cup match against Watford due to a groin problem, the Manchester Evening News reports.

Milner has made 20 Premier League appearances this season, but has taken only 14 shots in total. He does have a goal and an assist in league play this season, although he's gone five straight matches without either.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Milner came on for Samir Nasri in the 75th minute and then scored in the 83rd minute during Manchester City's 4-2 win over Fulham on Saturday.

Milner isn't usually a big fantasy contributor, although he does have two goals and an assist in his last four matches in all competitions, including a goal at Bayern Munich in the Champions League back on December 10. He only has one start in his last six Premier League matches, so a continuation of his solid play is tough to envision, making him a fairly weak fantasy option.
