Milner (hamstring) is in contention for Saturday's match against Manchester City.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Milner (hamstring) has returned to full practice Monday, according to the Guardian.

His health will be monitored during the week but he's expected to be available, to manager Jurgen Klopp, for selection. And if he actually dresses up for the derby it is going to be his first return to the Etihad since he joined Liverpool in the summer. The Red's skipper, under Klopp, will be extra motivated for the game to prove his worth against his old club.

Milner will not play Sunday against Crystal Palace because of a hamstring injury suffered in Thursday's Europa League match against Rubin Kazan, the Liverpool Echo reports.

The injury will also keep Milner out for two international friendlies over the upcoming break, and it is unclear if he will be able to return when Premier League play picks back upl

Milner picked up an assist off seven crosses, two shots off target and added a yellow card to his stat sheet in Liverpool home draw with Southampton on Sunday.

Milner continues his nice season for the Reds. He pin-pointed a deep cross on the head of Christian Benteke for a beautiful goal. He keeps pouring boatload of crosses, passes and shots every game which makes his fantasy upside sky high. An intriguing match-up next week away to struggling Chelsea would make him a boom or bust.

Milner had eight crosses and four key passes en route to an assist in a 1-1 draw to Everton on Sunday.

Milner did what he does best, as he sent in cross after cross. A corner was nicely headed in by Danny Ings and it gave Milner his second assist of the year, Milner got lost in the shuffle at Manchester City over recent seasons, but it appears he's found a nice everyday role with the Reds. Look for him to approach double-digit assists this season, as he should be a candidate for 100-plus crosses this year.

Milner scored a goal from two shots on target, assisted for another, completed three key passes, curled in seven crosses and registered 90 percent pass accuracy on the way to earning man of the match against Aston Villa on Saturday.

The new Liverpool addition, finally, lived up to his expectations. He looked rejuvenated in a new, more offensive scheme for the team lighting up all stats sheet. If manager Brendan Rogers continues with this trend, expect a feast from the midfielder.
