Wigan is eying Collison as a potential loan opportunity to help the team secure promotion and continue forward in the FA Cup, reports the Daily Mail.

Wigan are reportedly in talks with West Ham about bringing the midfielder to the club until the end of the season. Collison would be eligible to play in the FA Cup for Wigan since he hasn't made an appearance in the competition for West Ham this season,

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Collison has been loaned to Championship side Bournemouth for one month, the Daily Mail reports.

Collison has fallen out of favor with manager Sam Allardyce, making only one substitute appearance this season. He has battled knee injuries for much of his career and it doesn't appear that he's got much upside at West Ham moving forward.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Collison is emerging as a big part of the West Ham fight to avoid relegation, playing a terrific game and finding the net in West Ham's big 5-3 win over Burnley at Upton Park on Saturday.

Collison has been a steadying in force amidst a rather chaotic season for the Hammers. He's still very, very young, and he is the kind of player who may need to be sold off if West Ham goes down. If he continues to play like this and go a long way in winning games for the Hammers then they won't have to worry about that.
