RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Adam scored from a precise left-footed finish in the 40th minute of Stoke City's overwhelming 6-1 victory against Liverpool on Sunday.

Adam drifted inside onto his left foot before rolling in a well-placed strike to the bottom right corner Sunday. In doing so, Adam was able to score against his former club, Liverpool, and also continued his strong close to this season. To that point, Adam remarkably scored five of his seven goals this season during his last eight league appearances, which included a long distance strike worthy of goal of the season at Chelsea. On the whole, Adam managed just 15 starts this term, so although he's not a regular starter for Stoke, the 29-year-old can still make an impact in limited action.

Adam (nose) is starting Saturday against Swansea City.

Adam suffered a broken nose in training this week, but he'll play after being fitted for a protective mask. He's been an excellent fantasy contributor over the past four games, taking 19 shots and scoring three goals in that span.

Adam is expected to play Saturday against Swansea City despite breaking his nose during training Thursday, reports.

Adam has played exceptionally well of late, with three goals in his last four games, taking 19 shots over that span. He'll likely be forced to wear a protective mask, but it shouldn't be too cumbersome in his play.

Adam netted the winning goal of Stoke's 2-1 victory over Southampton on Saturday.

Adam was introduced as a half-time substitute Saturday and ultimately rewarded manager Mark Hughes' decision by scoring in the 84th minute. The goal marked Adam's second in three contests, which could earn him a starting berth this weekend versus Sunderland.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Adam scored a wonder goal from more than 60 yards out during Stoke City's 2-1 loss to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.

Adam's goal will certainly be a nominee for goal of the season, as he recognized Chelsea keeper Thibaut Courtois was way too far out of the box, and he lofted the strike right over his outstretched hand. It was Adam's third goal of the year and first since he scored in back-to-back matches in October.

Adam scored his second goal of the season in Stoke's 2-1 win over Swansea on Sunday.

Adam now boasts a goal in consecutive matches and led Stoke with a whopping eight shot attempts Sunday. After beginning the season as a reserve, Adam has started four straight matches and his recent performances figure to keep him in the Potters' first XI next weekend versus Southampton.

Adam scored Stoke's only goal in their 3-1 defeat to Sunderland over the weekend.

Adam was active Saturday, attempting a season-high three shots versus Sunderland, which helped produce his first goal of the campaign. That performance should earn Adam a third straight start once Stoke reconvenes following the current international break.
