Contento has joined Bordeaux from Bayern Munich.

With Philipp Lahm entrenched in the left back role, there were limited opportunities for Contento at Bayern. He made only 49 league appearances in five seasons with the club. The 24-year-old has now linked up with Bordeaux, where he should see regular time at the back.
