Rangel (ankle) is starting Saturday against West Brom.

Rangel fully trained this week and was never expected to miss the match, and he'll continue to start ahead of Kyle Naughton. Saturday presents a decent fantasy matchup, as West Brom come in without James McClean and Salomon Rondon, who are both suspended after picking up straight red cards last week.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Rangel (ankle) has trained this week and will likely be available for Saturday's match against West Brom.

Rangel has moved into the starting lineup recently in place of Kyle Naughton, and it appears that as long as he's fit, he'll be able to maintain that spot, which is good news with the upcoming match against West Brom, who will be without Salomon Rondon (suspension).

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Rangel signed a new one-year contract with Swansea, reports Sky Sports.

The defender has made 315 appearances since signing with the team in 2007. He hasn't started a match since early January, but remains a valuable player to the club.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Rangel has made 19 Premier League appearances for Swansea this season while compiling seven clean sheets over that time span.

Rangel has been a staple in manager Garry Monk's starting XI this season. That will likely continue as Rangel sets up for the rest of the season as a purely defensive option.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Rangel (suspension) has returned to the pitch to compete in both Sunday's 2-0 victory over Leicester and Tuesday's 2-1 loss to Liverpool in the Capital One Cup.

Rangel received a red card back on Oct. 4 and was forced to the bench for Swansea's match against Stoke City on Oct. 19. However that's all behind him now as he'll continue to be available for Saturday's match against Everton.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Rangel (suspension) won't be available during Swansea City's match against Stoke City on Sunday since he was charged with a red card during the Swans' previous match against Sunderland.

Rangel's next opportunity to get on the pitch will be against Leicester City on Oct. 25. In his absence, Dwight Tiendalli (groin) or Jazz Richards may see time in replacement.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Rangel (leg) was able to play 68 minutes during Swansea's friendly against AFC Bournemouth on Friday.

Rangel sat out Tuesday's friendly against Exeter with a dead leg, but it was obviously a pretty minor injury since he recovered Friday. Moving forward, he'll likely play a crucial part in Swansea's back line defense this upcoming EPL season.
