Sidwell, who was an injury doubt after picking up an ankle injury last weekend, was able to play the full 90 minutes but did not attempt a shot as Fulham lost 4-1 to Stoke City on Saturday.

Sidwell currently leads Fulham in goals (seven) in Premier League play, despite scoring just twice in the Cottagers past 15 matches. He will look to help Fulham earn a final victory next weekend against Crystal Palace before they get sent down to the League Championship next season.

Sidwell is struggling to regain fitness after being forced out of Fulham's most recent match with an ankle injury, reports Get West London. Fulham are concerned he will not be ready for Saturday's match against Stoke City and consider him doubtful to play.

Sidwell currently leads Fulham in goals scored with seven in Premier League play, despite having only twice in the Cottagers past 15 matches. His absence will certainly be missed as Fulham fights to remain in the Premier League, but it appears he has been surpassed by some of his teammates as a scoring option.

Sidwell was forced to leave Saturday's match with Hull City early in the second half after picking up an ankle injury. His availability for Fulham's next match against Stoke City is unknown.

Sidwell is Fulham's leading scorer and the Cottagers will hope to have him back in the lineup for their final two matches as they are playing to avoid relegation.

Sidwell showed great ball control as he was able to corral the ball and chip it in to the goal to even the score at one in the first half of Saturday's match against Tottenham. After Fulham went down two goals in the second half, Sidwell had a chance to pull Fulham closer on a penalty kick. However, he was unable to convert as Hugo Lloris was able to make the save.

Sidwell's fine play to score the goal was cancelled out by his poor effort from the penalty spot. He remains Fulham's leading scorer with seven goals but Saturday was just Sidwell's first goal since February 9.

Sidwell scored the match's opening goal Sunday during Fulham's 2-2 draw with Manchester United.

Sidwell has had an impressive 2014, as the midfielder has scored three goals in six Premier League matches. He is currently the team-leader in goals and is the best fantasy option on the Cottagers thanks to his consistent presence in the Fulham attack, as well as his ability to finish.
