Schneiderlin missed Manchester United's midweek match against Bournemouth, but trained Thursday and will be available for the Cup final against Crystal Palace.

Schneiderlin has seen his role in United's midfield diminish in recent weeks, but has still been a stable presence throughout the season. However, Schneiderlin isn't much of an offensive force and his fantasy value is limited. He'll be competing for a starting spot with Marouane Fellaini, who is a better fantasy option.

Schneiderlin put in one cross, five interceptions and three fouls in Saturday's 1-0 victory over Aston Villa.

Schneiderlin checked in another typical solid performance as it has been the case all season long. Nevertheless, with only one goal in 26 Premier League appearances the holding midfielder isn't a major fantasy factor in most formats.

Schneiderlin (hip) was unused sub in the 2-1 upset loss to Bournemouth on Saturday.

The French was deemed fit enough to make it to the bench but with Michael Carrick returning and Marouane Fellaini playing well as holding midfielder he was given a chance for a better recovery. Later on the development of the game never called for his appearance. Even if he returns to the starting XI next Saturday versus Norwich, he isn't a major fantasy factor.

Schneiderlin (hip) has been deemed fit for Saturday's match against Bournemouth.

United are in a full-blown injury crisis right now, but Schneiderlin's return to fitness will surely help lessen the blow. That being said, he doesn't participate in the attack much, which limits his fantasy upside in most formats.

Schneiderlin limped off in the 44th minute of Saturday's match against West Ham with a hamstring injury. Michael Carrick came on to replace him.

The Frenchman is believed to be a major doubt for the crucial Champions League tie with German side Wolfsburg too.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Schneiderlin (illness) is a late fitness test for Saturday's fixture with West Brom.

The 25-year-old holding midfielder missed the team's mid-week Champions League fixture with this illness, but appears to be on the road back to playing. Even if he's not fully fit, he's still the team's first choice central midfielder as the team is undefeated with him in the starting lineup in his last five Premier League fixtures.

Schneiderlin could be available for selection, says manager Louis van Gaal.

The French missed practice Monday but LVG said it was due to personal reasons and he personally allowed the absence. The midfielder has no injury concerns and could even feature in the CL clash with CSKA Moscow on Tuesday.
