Long (knee) is expected to be fit for Wednesday's match against West Ham United, reports Sky Sports. Hull City manager, Steve Bruce, expects the striker to be recovered in time after picking up the injury last Saturday against West Brom.

Long joined Hull City in January from West Brom and has boosted the struggling Hull City attack. While he may not take as many shots as teammate Nikica Jelavic, he has provided similar production and appears to be one of the Tigers' top scoring options.

Long picked up a knee injury during last weekend's match against West Brom and he could miss Wednesday's match against West Ham the Hull Daily Mail reports.

Long has been a solid contributor to the Hull attack since coming over in January, scoring three goals since that time. He netted last weekend before having to come off and if he's forced to miss any time, more pressure will be put on Nikica Jelavic to find the back of the net.

Long has been a productive fantasy forward since joining Hull City. He now has two goals and an assist in five matches with the club. His shot totals are not all that impressive, but his ability to find the back of the net has kept him a serious option for fantasy lineups.

Long scored an early goal, his first as a member of Hull City, during Saturday's 1-1 draw with Tottenham.

Long has shown a lot of promise in the Hull City attack in his two matches since joining the team, and it paid off with a goal. His shot total has been low both times, but he has helped the Hull City attack in many ways and has the ability to contribute in fantasy as well.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Long was in the Hull City Starting XI for their match Tuesday against Crystal Palace. He played the full 90 minutes and finished with just one shot attempt but also contributed to two other Hull City shot attempts.

Long was brought to Hull City to improve a struggling attack. His numbers Tuesday suggest that he'll be a key player in the Tigers' attack, but the scoring consistency is not quite there to warrant much fantasy consideration.
