Navas came off the bench in the 59th minute and set up the game winner crossing in a ball that resulted in an own goal in Saturday's 2-1 win over Sunderland. Despite being used as a substitute, Navas led City with two corners taken.

Navas probably won't have a starting role for much of the year, so his fantasy worth will be minimal. That said, if he can prove effective when coming off the bench, he may get a start here and there.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Navas tallied an assist as a substitute in Sunday's 4-2 defeat to Southampton.

Navas came on for the final half-hour after City had fallen behind 3-1 and watched as it quickly became 4-1. He did link up well with Kelechi Iheanacho to cut the deficit, but it was too little, too late. That's now assists in back-to-back Premier League matches for the Spaniard, who's up to 10 across all comps.

Navas tallied an assist in Saturday's 4-0 victory over Stoke City.

Since returning from a hamstring injury in February, Navas has been at his creative best. While off his tremendous form from last season, his three assists in the past eight Premier League matches makes him an attractive play in many formats as when the team is scoring, Navas often has a hand in the action.

Navas tallied an assist, shot off target, seven crosses and two dribbles in the Saturday's 4-0 win over Bournemouth.

Navas had an outstanding game. He was very active offensively constantly creating opportunities. He chased down to the goal line an almost lost ball and lobbed in a beautiful cross towards Sergio Aguero who headed it comfortably home for the third. That's his fifth assist of the season in 27 appearances (18 starts), he has no goals but will have a favorable match next Saturday hosting the not-so-solid defensively Baggies and with Raheem Sterling out he may have a green light to grab another start.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Navas had an assist and created three chances in Man City’s 4-0 home win against Aston Villa on Saturday.

Similar to Sterling, Navas is another player at risk of rotation but yesterday’s stage was perfect for the winger’s style of play. He caused Aly Cissokho problems all afternoon and his endeavor was rewarded with an assist for City’s fourth. In an age where old fashioned wingers are in short supply, Navas is such a treat to watch at times.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Navas (hamstring) will be available for Sunday's Capital One Cup final against Liverpool.

Navas has missed the last three matches across all comps thanks to his hamstring injury, but hadn't been providing much from a fantasy perspective of late anyway. Since Oct. 17, Navas has just one assist and no goals. He has had success in the Capital One Cup this season, scoring his only goal of the season and adding an assist in five matches.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Navas will be sidelined for at least three weeks because of the hamstring injury he suffered Tuesday against Sunderland, manager Manuel Pellegrini said Friday.

Navas hasn't done much for fantasy owners this season and has seen his role decrease over the last couple months, having zero goals and six assists on the season. Raheem Sterling took his place Tuesday and should get the start against Leicester. Sterling hasn't been great this campaign either, but has been the more dangerous winger with five goals and three assists.

Navas left Tuesday's match against Sunderland after suffering a hamstring injury, according to Stuart Brennan of the Manchester Evening News. He finished the match with four crosses, one foul drawn and one interception.

Navas' deflected cross ended up at the feet of Sergio Aguero, who banged home the opener. Navas got the start in place of the injured Kevin De Bruyne (ankle/knee), and if he's forced to miss any additional time, Raheem Sterling would likely slot back into the starting XI.
