Paulinho got the start and grabbed an assist in the 3-1 win over Newcastle on Sunday.

Paulinho is a much better player for his international team, but he played well grabbing an assist and sending in three crosses. In 14 games this season he had one assist and zero goals heading into Sunday's game, so this performance is something to build on.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Paulinho returned from a bout of conjunctivitis to start and play 88 minutes during Tottenham's 5-1 drubbing of Sunderland on Monday.

Paulinho remains a weak fantasy option, as he doesn't get nearly enough starts in Premier League play to make him a worthy gamble. The Brazilian midfielder has not scored a league goal since Feb. 12 against Newcastle and his last assist came on Oct. 20 against Aston Villa.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Paulinho will not play in Sunday's match against Liverpool at Anfield after picking up a case of conjunctivitis, the Daily Express reports.

A very tough blow for Tottenham, who are absolutely riddled with injuries right now. The blow isn't likely a huge one for fantasy Premier League players, as Paulinho's playing time has been very inconsistent, which severely limits his upside.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Paulinho was able to find the back of the net in the 4-0 win over Newcastle on Wednesday.

Paulinho was able to recapture some of that glistening form after returning from an ankle injury he suffered last week. He has now scored three goals in his last six matches and looks to have secured that starting role. Look for Paulinho to start again next week against struggling Norwich City.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Paulinho, after being uncertain to play due to an ankle injury, was able to provide the only goal for Spurs in the 1-1 draw against Hull City on Saturday.

Surprisingly, Paulinho played all 90 minutes as well, providing three shots and that crucial goal. This is only his second goal since September, so while he's a talented and special young player, he's hard to trust fantasy-wise. Keep an eye on this youngster though, he could be special in years to come.

Paulinho (ankle) is in the starting XI for Saturday's match against Hull City.

Paulinho has not played since suffering ligament damage in his ankle toward the end of December. He has had his return date pushed back a number of times, but he has finally returned to full fitness, with a decent clean sheet opportunity at Hull on Saturday.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Paulinho suffered severe ligament damage in his ankle after suffering a late tackle by Stoke City's Charlie Adam last weekend, the Mirror reports.

Paulinho is definitely out for Wednesday's match against Manchester United, as well as Saturday's FA Cup match against Arsenal. It's unknown if the brief reprieve will allow him to recover, but in the short-term he's out.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Paulinho's three-match ban for picking up a red card has ended, which means he will be available for Sunday's Premier League match against Stoke City, the Daily Mail reports.

Paulinho continues to get multiple shots off per game lately, although he's found the back of the the net just twice this season.
