Gameiro put in two crosses and scored on his only shot of Sunday's 2-0 win over Betis.

The 28-year-old was not as dominant as he often is, but he was still able to find the net for the sixth time in the last seven matches. He is in fine form at the moment, and will look to keep it up during Wednesday's Europa League clash with Shakhtar.

Gameiro had six shots, three on target, and scored twice in Thursday’s 3-0 Europa League win over FC Basel.

Gameiro proved to be the difference maker once again for Sevilla as his brace helped send them through to the next round of the competition. He has been in excellent form all season with 19 goals in all competitions, as well as six games with multiple goals. Expectations should be tempered, however, as he has a difficult matchup against Real Madrid on Sunday.

Gameiro took two shots and scored the second goal in Sunday's 2-0 win over Las Palmas.

The 28-year-old put the game away just six minutes after Sevilla broke the stalemate, scoring his sixth goal in the last five league starts. Gameiro's excellent form now has him up to 17 goals in just 22 starts this season, and he should easily set a new career-high in goals since he moved to Spain. Gameiro will look to extend his current streak as Sevilla face Rayo Vallecano this Sunday.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Gameiro scored on both of his shots in Saturday's 2-0 win over Athletic Club.

The 28-year-old's efficient performance lifted him to nine league goals on the season, surpassing his total from all of last year. Gameiro is easily on pace to have his best season as a Sevilla player, and he has singlehandedly accounted for over one third of the club's league goals. Gameiro will look to take another step toward a potential career year in Saturday's match versus Malaga.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Gameiro appeared as a 68th-minute substitute and scored on both of his shots in Saturday's 2-0 win over Sporting Gijon.

The Frenchman has seen sporadic playing time of late, but his goal scoring record is undeniable, as he now has seven in just nine league starts. Gameiro is Sevilla's leading scorer despite his inconsistent role, and his contributions will be important if the club is to maintain its position in the top seven. This performance could well earn him a starting berth for Saturday's match versus Real Betis.

Gameiro has made 11 appearances this season for Sevilla FC, scoring four goals in those matches.

With his six starts in La Liga, Gameiro has scored two goals and was credited with one assist. With 19 shot attempts in La Liga, he’ll have a good chance of remaining a starter, but he’s often subbed off in the second half.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Gameiro had a very productive season despite coming off the bench in the majority of his matches, as he managed 17 goals and four assists in just 17 starts of 36 overall appearances.

The Frenchman was integral to Sevilla's run to the UEFA Europa League title, with four goals and two assists in the competition this season. Several clubs are interested in acquiring the 28-year-old this summer, including a handful of Premier League sides, and Gameiro could realistically move on in search of regular first-team action.

Gameiro came on in the 70th minute scored from the penalty spot in the 78th minute of Sevilla's 4-3 loss to Real Sociedad on Sunday.

Gameiro's goal put the visitors up 3-2, but Sociedad came back in shocking fashion, benefitting from an own goal in the 82nd minute before Xabi Prieto scored the winner in the 90th. The goal was just Gameiro's third this season in league play, and first since Nov. 30 against Granada.
