Arnautovic got off five shots and scored on a penalty in a 2-2 draw to Tottenham on Saturday.

It was a great performance for Arnautovic, as he was tied for team lead in shots and finished top-three in touches, a rare feat for a forward. He'll look to continue his strong form against Norwich next Saturday.

Arnautovic (thigh) is starting Saturday against Tottenham.

Arnautovic missed the opener with the thigh issue, but he's healthy enough to get the start Saturday against a Spurs side that has hardly been a tough defensive team at home.

Arnautovic (thigh) is not in the 18-man squad to face Liverpool on Sunday.

Arnautovic appeared to be a long shot to play due to the ailment, and he'll have to wait until next Saturday against Spurs to make his season debut.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Arnautovic is questionable to play Saturday against Liverpool because of his thigh injury, manager Mark Hughes said Friday. "Marko Arnautovic is hampered a little bit too, by his thigh," Hughes said. "We hope he will make it but we certainly won't take any risks with him."

Arnautovic suffered the injury during last weekend's friendly with FC Porto, and while it wasn't considered overly serious at the time, he hasn't been able to fully train this week because of the ailment. If he's unable to play, his next opportunity will come the following Saturday against Tottenham at White Hart Lane.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Arnautovic suffered a thigh injury during Sunday's friendly against FC Porto, but he is expected to be fit to play in Stoke's Premier League opener Sunday against Liverpool, the Stoke Sentinel reports.

Arnautovic has been dealing with a thigh injury for a number of weeks, and manager Mark Hughes noted that Arnautovic felt something during the first half Sunday and they decided to pull him before exasperating the issue. While he may be fit enough for Sunday's match, it wouldn't be surprising if he was limited in playing time given his inability to train fully for a while.

Arnautovic is expected to play Sunday against Tottenham despite suffering a broken hand during training this week, manager Mark Hughes said Friday.

Arnautovic is expected to wear a cast over this hand, which must be approved by the referee, though there is likely little reason for him to forbid it. Arnautovic has moved in and out of the starting XI this season and has yet to register a goal or an assist.

Arnautovic returned from a hip injury to feature as a 69th minute substitute Saturday against Southampton.

Arnautovic had been sidelined since Oct. 4, but returned to his right wing position to close Saturday's match. Now healthy, the 25-year-old will hope to return to the kind of form that allowed him to register four goals and seven assists in his debut Premiership campaign last season.

Arnautovic could start Saturday against Sunderland with Mame Diouf out with a hamstring injury.

Stoke manager Mark Hughes wouldn't definitively say that Arnautovic would start, but he was the only player mentioned as a possible replacement for Diouf, who is expected to be fit after the international break. Arnautovic is still looking for his first goal of the season and has lost considerable playing time since his last Premier League start back on Aug. 24 to Chelsea-loanee Victor Moses.
