Besic led Everton with five shots and picked up a yellow card in the 0-0 draw to West Brom Monday.

Besic was arguably Everton's best player Monday as he not only led the team in shots, but he also led in touches (113) and long balls (13). The youngster has looked good as of late getting three consecutive starts, but has yet to record an assist or goal on the campaign. If he continues to play like this he'll get off the schnide sooner rather then later. Besic and Everton take on Crystal Palace in two weeks.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Besic could be moved into the starting XI for Everton's Premier League opener against Leicester City on Saturday after Ross Barkley was ruled out for the next six weeks due to a knee injury, the Liverpool Echo reports.

Besic joined the Toffees earlier this summer after transferring from Hungarian side Ferencvaros. He is a heavily discounted player in most salary cap games, and if he does hold onto the starting job while Barkley is sidelined, he could be a big early-season value.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Besic signed a five-year contract with Everton on Monday after transferring from Hungarian side Ferencvaros.

The 21-year-old has been heavily linked to the Toffees since he played for Bosnia and Herzegovina in the World Cup this summer and he finally made the move. It's unclear whether he'll start right away, but he certainly has the ability to crack the starting XI at some point.
