Remy could return from his thigh injury toward the end of November, manager Alan Pardew said on Friday.

Remy suffered the injury only days after joining Palace on loan from Chelsea, and while he is progressing in his recovery, he's still a ways out before he gets back on the pitch.

Remy will be out up to 8 weeks with a tear in his thigh.

Remy has returned to Chelsea to start the rehabilitation process. Christian Benteke and Connor Wickham will now see the majority of the playing time at forward.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Remy has returned to Chelsea after suffering an ankle injury in training this week that could keep him out for a number of weeks.

Remy's fantasy upside was certainly higher at Palace than it was at Chelsea, though he was unlikely to get many Premier League starts ahead of Christian Benteke. His injury certainly hurts Palace's depth, though they weren't depending on him for much.

Remy moved to Crystal Palace on a season-long loan from Chelsea on Tuesday, BBC Sport reports.

Remy made just nine starts for the Blues after transferring from Newcastle in 2014, and he will join the Eagles in search of a regular role. Palace currently only have Christian Benteke and Connor Wickham among their forward ranks, meaning Remy could have the chance to compete for playing time, as neither of the two have proven to be consistent options over the last couple of seasons.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Lyon may be interested in making a loan move for Remy this season should Alexandre Lacazette transfer away from the club, according to the Daily Mail.

Lacazette indicated over the weekend that he would be open to offers to leave Lyon, which could open the door for Remy to make a move. Reports indicate that there may also be Premier League clubs interested in taking the forward on loan this season as well, should Chelsea decide to allow an agreement.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Remy (groin) is out for Saturday's match against Bournemouth.

Remy's injury remains quite serious and he was quickly ruled out for Saturday's match. From all reports, it seems unlikely he'll return this season for the Blues. If that's the season for Remy, he'll finish with one goal and no assists in 13 Premier League matches.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Remy (groin) is out for Saturday's match against Swansea City and likely much longer. "I donít know when he will be recovered," said manager Guus Hiddink. "Itís a groin problem but it will last. When you have that problem you cannot train properly."

Remy's injury could sideline him for the rest of the season and with Diego Costa suspended, this leaves scant options up front for Chelsea. Look for some combination of Bertrand Traore, Falcao and Alexandre Pato to fill in until Costa comes back.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Remy is starting Saturday versus West Ham.

With Diego Costa suspended for two games, it was between the youngster Bertrand Traore and Remy to decide who starts upfront. Manager Guus Hidink gives the first nod to the more experienced Remy, who hasn't been a major fantasy factor thus far this season.
