Taylor, former Manchester City and Arsenal keeper, is ready to sign a one year contract with Reading, Sky Sports reports.

This is in no way a threat to incumbent Adam Federici's stranglehold on the first team job. Taylor, who has disappointed in stints with Arsenal and Manchester City, impressed Reading boss Brian McDermott when he trained with the team over the summer. He would only be on the fantasy radar if Federici were to pick up an injury.
