Westwood (concussion) is starting Saturday against Everton.

Westwood has been a decent contributor in fantasy formats that reward peripheral stats, but from a full attacking perspective, he's quite limited.

Westwood (concussion) didnít make the 18-man squad for the home 0-0 draw with Manchester City on Sunday.

The Brit received a hit in the head during the game with the Spurs on Monday. He continued getting the effects of the hit during the week and couldnít recover from them on time to make the team. His place in the midfield was taken by Idrissa Gueye but is still unclear what kind of formation and who are the starters going to be, in midfield, with plenty of decent options when healthy, for the new boss Remi Garde.

Westwood supplied the lone assist in Aston Villa's 1-0 win Saturday at Bournemouth.

Westwood's outswinging corner kick was placed perfectly in the penalty box for teammate Rudy Gestede to head home. Although Westwood isn't a very dynamic offensive threat, his fantasy value could stand to benefit if he continues to be trusted with Aston Villa's corner kicks.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Westwood was held out of Saturday's match against Manchester United because of a knock, and he could miss Tuesday's tie with QPR as well, manager Tim Sherwood said.

Westwood has been a fairly consistent starter for Villa this season, but he's got a very low fantasy ceiling in most formats given his lack of contributions to the attack. In 23 appearances this season, he has zero goals and one assist.

Westwood (illness) has overcome his ordeal with a stomach bug and will likely be available for Saturday's matchup against Chelsea, the International Business Times reports.

Westwood has received significant time on the pitch this season and seems to be fit enough to play Saturday. He's been a reliable starter for manager Paul Lambert but doesn't offer much in the way of goal scoring.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Westwood was one of the many Aston Villa players who came down with a stomach bug during the Arsenal match Saturday.

Manager Paul Lambert has decided to close down Villa's facilities for the rest of the weekend in an attempt to get his players back at full strength. Westwood was ultimately unable to play Saturday and will try to get well before his squad faces Chelsea.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Westwood has played the full 90 minutes in all three of Aston Villa's Premier League matches this season.

Westwood has been a staple of Villa's midfield this season alongside Fabian Delph. Villa's early success can partly be attributed to the play of Westwood, but he and his squad will be challenged as they face Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City in consecutive weeks.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Westwood scored off a free kick in the 13th minute of Aston Villa's 1-4 loss to Manchester United on Saturday.

Westwood's goal was his second this season, with the first one coming back on November 25 against West Brom. He also has two assists this season in 28 appearances, showing his relatively low fantasy value.
