Setting the Table: Gameweek 32 Cheat Sheet

This article is part of our Setting the Table series.

Looking Back

The international break makes it feel like Gameweek 31 was a year ago, but we're less than 10 days away from the last match of that round, which saw Spurs smoke Bournemouth 3-0 to help them keep pace with Leicester, who won 1-0 at Crystal Palace the day before.

Harry Kane bagged a brace in that Tottenham victory, giving him a league-best 21 goals this season. Joining him in the multi-goal output was Cesc Fabregas (no, really!) and Sadio Mane, which fantasy players likely didn't take advantage of because he didn't start Southampton's 3-2 win over Liverpool.

Speaking of Liverpool, they have scored the most goals over the last six gameweeks, which is remarkable given they've only played four Premier League matches in that span. That being said, it may be tough to continue their high-scoring ways this week against Tottenham, who have allowed a league-low 24 goals this season.

Meanwhile, Aston Villa lost again. If you're looking for a silver lining, the losing has gotten less harsh, as they lost 4-0 to Man City then 2-0 to Spurs and then 1-0 to Swansea. So there's that.

Looking Ahead

We've got a full Premier League slate without any double gameweeks, which will be rarer and rarer as the season winds down.

Chelsea look to be an excellent team to target playing away at Aston Villa, but because that's the first game of the weekend, many daily sites don't include the fixture in their bigger tournaments. Arsenal hosting Watford is expected to be the most lopsided fixture, however, Arsenal have some goalkeeper issues, as Petr Cech may not be able to return from his calf injury, while backup David Ospina suffered a hip injury while on international duty. If both are unable to play, Matt Macey could get the surprise start.

Speaking of goalkeeper issues, Stoke will be without Jack Butland for the rest of the season because of a broken ankle suffered in last weekend's international friendly against Germany. As a result, Jakob Haugaard is likely to start in his place. Because many DFS prices came out before the international matches, Haugaard is an attractive $2,900 on DraftKings, £6.4m on Mondogoal and £4.4m on the Premier League's official game.

Sunderland have some fairly strong win odds, which is a bit surprising because they're sitting 18th in the table, but they are also unbeaten in four of their last five league matches, including a win against Manchester United.

West Ham have scored multiple goals in three of their last five league matches and now face a Crystal Palace side that has allowed at least two goals in four of their last five Premier League fixtures. Diafra Sakho's price came down a bit on many sites during his injury absence, but he could be a solid value play this week if he gets a start.
