Charles Leesman

Leesman had a rocky start to 2013. He recovered slowly from offseason knee surgery, was designated for assignment, elected free agency, and quickly re-signed with the White Sox. He did not make his first start for Triple-A Charlotte until late May, and he wound up making 16 starts at the level. He carried a 7.9 K/9 in his time at Charlotte, but his shallow pitch arsenal resulted in more walks than strikeouts in his limited time in the majors. He could receive a spot start or two in 2014, but he will more likely slot into a relief role if it's determined that he is going to contribute to the big club.
