Josh Stinson

Stinson worked for his third organization in the last three years and the Orioles were impressed with his work at Triple-A. That resulted in three stints at the MLB level, including a month-long audition when rosters expanded in September. Stinson's positive results are a bit of a surprise considering he is not a strikeout pitcher and he did not keep the ball on the ground as well as he has in the past. His 1.12 GO/AO from Triple-A in 2013 is not close to his typical 1.50 mark in seasons past. The Orioles may stretch him out to be a starter, but he is more likely to make the team as a reliever.
