RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Clarendon contributed two points (0-8 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 2-3 FT) and three rebounds across 25 minutes during Sunday's 84-70 loss to the Mercury.

Though she had an underwhelming season finale, Clarendon made huge a huge stride in her game this season -- distributing. She finished the 2017 campaign second in the WNBA in assists per game (6.6) while also committing the fifth fewest turnovers per game (2.7). That said, the fifth-year guard out of California shot just 37.8 percent from the field -- her lowest mark since her rookie season -- and 18.0 percent from beyond the arc -- the lowest clip of her career. If she can put it all together in 2018, however, she could be looking at a breakout campaign.

August 24, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Clarendon contributed 17 points (6-10 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 2-3 FT), a career-high 14 assists and two steals across 32 minutes during Wednesday's 89-83 win over the Storm.

Clarendon, who ranks second in assists per game in the WNBA, dropped a career-high 14 dimes Wednesday to go along with a double-double -- her fourth of the year. While she can be frustratingly inconsistent for those who deploy her in DFS, she has significant big-game upside, as she averages 11.2 points, 7.1 assists, 3.7 rebounds and 1.0 steal across 30 minutes per game. She even came up just one assist shy of a triple-double this season.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Clarendon posted 12 points (4-11 FG, 4-4 FT), three assists and one steal across just 15 minutes in Saturday's loss to the Wings.

After a week filled with struggles, as Clarendon had shot 0-of-13 from the field over her last two games, the guard saw her role reduced severely. However, she still managed her most productive game in nearly two weeks despite playing a season-low 15 minutes. Whether or not this performance will put Clarendon back in the good graces of her coaches is yet to be seen, so that uncertainty leaves her as a risky DFS option.

August 16, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Clarendon tallied zero points (0-8 FG), 11 assists and three rebounds across 31 minutes during Tuesday's 96-75 loss to the Sun.

While she shouldn't be relied upon as a scorer in DFS, Clarendon's ability to put the ball in the basket as of late has been especially shotty. Over the past five contests, she's averaging 6.0 points, 6.4 assists and 3.8 rebounds across 29.8 minutes per game. She's also failed to collect a defensive statistic over that stretch. Her 11 assists Tuesday certainly helped make up for her lack of other production, however. While she's not a premier fantasy option, she's definitely a solid fill-in on most nights in DFS due to her stat-sheet-stuffing ability.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Clarendon contributed 18 points (9-16 FG, 0-2 3Pt), five assists, four steals and three rebounds across 32 minutes during Thursday's 69-54 loss to the Lynx.

Clarendon has continued her impressive season lately, posting 12.6 points, 8.0 assists, 4.8 rebounds and 1.4 steals per game over her past five appearances. Her ability to stuff the stat sheet makes her one of the better backcourt options available in DFS. Clarendon came up just short of a triple-double recently, recording 15 points, 10 rebounds and nine assists during July 25's game against the Mercury.

July 31, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Clarendon finished with 11 points (5-13 FG, 1-4 3PT), four rebounds, ten assists, and one steal across 32 minutes in Sunday's loss to the Mystics.

Clarendon's performance Sunday marks her third double-double of the season as she continues to prove her versatility on the floor. The guard flirted with a triple-double two games prior, which would have been made her the sixth player in history to accomplish such a feat. The guard has shown promise in her ability to notch a triple-double all season, as she's nearing the double digits in either assists, rebounds, and points on most nights. Clarendon is currently averaging 11.7 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 7.2 rebounds across 30.5 minutes, and should certainly be viewed as a DFS contender.

July 26, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Clarendon collected 15 points (5-14 FG, 5-6 FT), 10 rebounds and nine assists across 39 minutes during Tuesday's 99-91 victory over the Mercury.

Clarendon -- a fifth-year guard -- put on a nearly historic performance against the Mercury on Tuesday, as only five players have ever dropped a triple-double in WNBA history. She has been demonstrating her dynamic skill as a player all season, posting a balanced 11.8 points, 7.1 assists, 4.1 rebounds and 1.1 steals across 30.5 minutes per game. All of that came together Tuesday, as Clarendon fired on all cylinders in every area of her game and flirted with a triple double. While this kind of performance obviously shouldn't be expected from her on a regular basis, she's shown upside as a triple-double threat all season. There's no doubt that Clarendon should be considered as a DFS backcourt option every night the Dream roll the ball out.

July 20, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Heading into the All-Star break, Clarendon holds averages of 11.7 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 7.0 assist per game.

Clarendon was named an All-Star reserve for the Eastern Conference, marking her first career selection. The Cal product is shooting 41.5 percent from the field, but she's converted just 15.4 percent of her three-point attempts.

July 16, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Clarendon tallied 14 points (5-12 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 4-4 FT), four rebounds, eight assists, one steal and two turnovers across 34 minutes during Saturday's 84-90 loss to the Storm.

Despite being primarily known as a distributor, Clarendon has really picked it up on the offensive side of the ball, as she's averaged an impressive 19.5 points over the team's last four games. When you add that to her potential to reach double-digit assists on any given night, Clarendon's fantasy value appears to be as high as ever. With season averages of 11.8 points, 3.9 rebounds, 6.9 assists and 1.1 steals over 29.7 minutes, there's certainly a chance Clarendon falls off a bit, but for now, she's firing on all cylinders and should be considered in DFS contests.

July 13, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Clarendon recorded a double-double Wednesday with a team-high 21 points (9-12 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT) and 10 assists to go with four rebounds across 33 minutes in Wednesday's loss to Phoenix.

Clarendon posted her first double-double of the season Wednesday, along with scoring her second game above 20 points. She is currently tied for first in assists during the 2017 season, battling Sue Bird for the title. While she isn't much of a scorer, Clarendon can certainly make up for it with her ability to dish out assists and rebound. She's averaging 11.6 points, 3.9 rebounds, 6.8 assists and 1.1 steals across 29.4 minutes per game.

July 11, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Clarendon recorded 16 points (6-10 FG, 4-4 FT), eight assists, two rebounds and one steal across 32 minutes during Sunday's 98-78 victory over the Wings.

Clarendon, who's recorded at least five assists in each of her past eight games, came close to a double-double Sunday. She currently ranks second in the league in assists per game (6.6), just barely behind Sue Bird (6.7). While she's not a great scorer, racking up just 11.1 points per game, her superb passing, solid rebounding (3.9) and decent steal rate (1.1) make her someone to consider when constructing a DFS lineup.

July 8, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Clarendon scored a career-high 27 points (11-15 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 4-4 FT) to go along with eight rebounds, six assists and two steals across 31 minutes during Friday's 89-68 victory over the Fever.

Clarendon continues to demonstrate why she's one of the best all-around DFS options available, capable of having monster games when her scoring catches up to her rebounds, assists and steals. She's been on a great passing streak lately, racking up at least five assists over her past seven outings. On the season, she's posting 10.7 points, 6.5 assists, 4.0 rebounds and 1.2 steals across 28.9 minutes per game.

July 5, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Clarendon had 15 points (5-17 FG, 5-6 FT), four rebounds, nine assists, one steal and two turnovers across 36 minutes during Sunday's 72-81 win over the Liberty.

Clarendon got off a team-high 17 field goal attempts Sunday, as she looked to take on a bigger role offensively. However, that didn't stop her from contributing as a distributor, considering she added nine assists, which nearly gave her a double-double. Clarendon is currently second in the entire league behind Sue Bird for assists with 7.3 per game, so she's got a pretty solid floor in terms of her fantasy value. When you add that to her potential on the offensive end, Clarendon will almost always be an intriguing fantasy option.

June 16, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Clarendon posted nine points (4-11 FG, 1-2 3Pt), eight assists, three rebounds and one steal across 25 minutes during Thursday's 85-74 loss to the Fever.

If you're looking for affordable all-around talent in DFS, Clarendon is one of the best in the business. She's currently posting 6.2 assists across 29.9 minutes per game and has racked up six games with six or more assists (out of 10 starts). She also chips in 10.4 points, 4.0 rebounds and 1.2 steals per contest. If Clarendon fires on all cylinders, she's certainly capable of flirting with a triple double.

June 14, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Clarendon posted nine points (4-14 FG, 0-5 3Pt, 1-1 FT), eight rebounds, six assists, two steals and four turnovers across 33 minutes during Tuesday's 91-86 win over the Storm.

Clarendon got off a season-high 14 shot attempts Tuesday, but largely struggled to get anything going, shooting just 29 percent from the field and missing all five of her three-point attempts. She still had some impressive all-around production, adding eight rebounds, six assists and two steals, which often helps Clarendon boost her value despite her occasional lack of scoring. Clarendon is averaging 10.6 points, 4.1 rebounds, 6.0 assists and 1.2 steals across 30.4 minutes per game this season, giving her the all-around production that is intriguing for fantasy owners.

June 5, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Clarendon posted five points (2-11 FG, 1-1 FT), two rebounds and five assists in Sunday's loss to the Mystics.

Clarendon's performance Sunday should be seen as a minor blip to what has been a fairly solid start to her fifth WNBA season. Before Sunday's game, Clarendon had scored at least 13 points in four of five contests and dished out at least seven assists in four straight. While she has struggled shooting the ball as of late, Clarendon's ability to distribute and score keep her as an intriguing DFS option.

May 31, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Clarendon scored 13 points (3-12 FG, 0-3 3PT, 7-7 FT) to go with eight assists and five rebounds in Wednesday's win over the Stars.

Clarendon also added a pair of steals and was a team-high plus-15 in 34 minutes of action. Clarendon has now scored at least 13 points in four of five games this season and has notched at least eight assists in each of her last three games.

May 28, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Clarendon finished Saturday's 75-73 victory over the Sparks with nine points (4-11 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 1-2 FT), two rebounds, 12 assists, three steals and two turnovers across 35 minutes.

Clarendon put on an absolute clinic with her passing Saturday, logging a season-high 12 assists, which brings her up to 21 over the last two games combined. While she struggled with her shot and logged her first single-digit scoring total of the season, Clarendon is still averaging 14.5 points per game on the year, so fantasy owners shouldn't be too concerned there. Clarendon's combination of points and assists makes her an elite fantasy play on most nights.

May 22, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Clarendon produced 17 points (6-13 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 4-4 FT), nine assists, five rebounds, one steal, and four turnovers across 36 minutes during Sunday's 75-71 loss to the Sky.

Despite leading her team in turnovers, Clarendon had an overall productive night, recording just one assist shy of a double-double. Throughout her four years in the WNBA, the guard averaged just 1.6 turnovers; during the start to her 2017 campaign, she is currently averaging 4.3 turnovers across three games. However, Clarendon is also averaging 16.3 points during her 2017 season, whereas she averaged 10.4 points during her 2016 campaign. Hopefully, Clarendon can reduce the number of turnovers she produces while maintaining a high-scoring percentage.

May 20, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Clarendon finished with 18 points (7-10 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 3-4 FT), seven assists, six rebounds and one steal across 31 minutes during Friday's 91-83 victory over the Sky.

Clarendon is having a productive start to the season, averaging 16.0 points, 4.5 assists, 4.0 rebounds and 1.5 steals across 29.2 minutes per game through the Dream's first two outings. She's also shooting 52.4 percent from the field. She finished the 2016 campaign averaging 10.4 points, 4.3 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 0.7 steals across 28.2 minutes per game. So, if she's able to keep up her production, it looks like it could be a year of strong improvement from her.
