RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Williams finished with 19 points (7-13 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds, three assists and one steal across 34 minutes during Sunday's 81-70 loss to the Sparks.

Williams bounced back in a big way Sunday. Over her previous two outings, she combined for four points on 2-of-14 shooting across 42 minutes. She normally sees just 26.0 minutes per game, though has demonstrated plenty of big-game upside in the past when given extended run. For example, she recorded a 23-point, 10-rebound double-double during June 3's game against the Stars. More recently, she dropped 27 points and eight rebounds on the Storm on Aug. 8. Maybe most importantly, however, she'll head into the WNBA playoffs on a high note.

August 30, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Williams finished with zero points (0-7 FG), two rebounds, two assists and one steal across 20 minutes during Tuesday's 86-76 victory over the Mystics.

Williams, who's shooting 47.6 percent on the season, has been struggling to score lately. Over the past three contests, she's 4-for-33 (12.1 percent) from the field en route to just 20 points. While she's continued her solid work in other statistical categories, it's hard for her to hit value in DFS when struggling so mightily to put the ball in the basket. It may be safe to avoid her until she figures things out.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Williams tallied 19 points (8-15 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 3-3 FT), five rebounds, two assists and one turnover across 29 minutes during Saturday's 88-96 win over the Wings.

Williams is on a hot streak of late, shooting a combined 20-for-36 from the field for 46 points over her last two contests. She's taken it upon herself to play a bigger role on the offensive side of the ball, which has resulted in boosted numbers in the scoring column. Williams has now put together five straight double-digit scoring performances and owns season averages of 13.0 points, 4.3 rebounds and 2.0 assists across 26.1 minutes. That said, while she appears to be on the rise, she's playing on one of the most talented rosters in the entire league and will sometimes have to play a complimentary role to other elite options like Jonquel Jones and Alyssa Thomas.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Williams totaled a career-high 27 points (12-21 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), eight rebounds, two assists and one block across 34 minutes during Tuesday's 84-71 victory over the Storm.

Williams, who's averaging 12.8 points per game on the season, caught fire Tuesday and ended up dropping a career-high 27 points. A subpar workload of 25.9 minutes per game dampens her fantasy value, though she's clearly a worthy DFS consideration when in line for extended run, as evidenced by Tuesday's performance.

July 26, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Williams posted 17 points (8-13 FG, 1-1 FT), three rebounds, six assists, and a steal across 23 minutes in Tuesday's 93-72 victory against the Sky.

Williams, on her second season, has exactly doubled her scoring average since her rookie campaign, where she averaged 6.2 points compared to her 2017 average of 12.4 points. The guard is also seeing a lot more time on the court and has been able to use it effectively, averaging 4.2 rebounds and 2.0 assists across 25.8 minutes. That said, Williams is an efficient all-around player and should be viewed as a solid DFS candidate.

July 20, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Williams is averaging 12.1 points, 4.2 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game heading into the All-Star break.

Williams is another part of a much-improved young core in Connecticut, as her 12.1 points per game in 2017 is nearly double her average of 6.2 in 2016. Most importantly, however, Williams has become a much more efficient player on the Sun, as her field goal percentage is up from 41 percent in 2016 to 48.7 percent this season, and her free throw shooting has shot up from 57.1 percent to a very impressive 84.6 percent.

July 17, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Williams totaled 15 points (7-12 FG, 1-3 3PT), six rebounds, and two steals across 21 minutes in Sunday's victory over the Stars.

Williams has been a consistent scorer for the Sun this 2017 campaign, averaging 12.4 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.7 assists across 25.8 minutes per game. Because she's able to score in the double figures and grab a handful of rebounds most games, she should be viewed as a safe fantasy option if she continues to operate the way she has.

July 13, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Williams tallied 10 points (4-12 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 2-2FT) and three rebounds across 26 minutes during Wednesday's 83-79 victory over the Storm.

Williams had an unusually inefficient game Wednesday, drilling only four of her 12 shots from the field despite being a 48.3 percent shooter on the season. She also didn't manage to record an assist and had a below average rebounding performance. That said, she's been a consistent scorer for the Sun since mid-June and is posting 12.3 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.8 assists across 26.3 minutes per game.

July 6, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Williams put up a game-high 17 points (8-14 FG, 1-1 FT) to go with four rebounds, two assists and a steal across 22 minutes in Wednesday's 89-56 win against the Stars.

With Williams' 12.5 points per tilt, she's doubled her scoring average from her rookie season when she averaged 6.2 points. Along with her 12.5 points, the guard is averaging 4.3 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 0.5 steals across 26.4 minutes per contest. Williams should be measured as a valuable DFS option as she's consistent in scoring and has the ability to pull down a number of boards.

June 28, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Williams had 14 points (5-10 FG, 4-4 FT), three rebounds, one assist, one steal and one turnover across 29 minutes during Tuesday's 87-79 loss to the Sparks.

Williams has put together three straight 14-point performances and has remained in double-figures for the last seven games. The return of Alex Bentley from EuroBasket was expected to mean a slight drop in production from Williams, but she's actually kept pace and appears to be going strong on the offensive side of the ball. She's combined for just three rebounds over the last two games, which is a bit disappointing, but either way, the majority of her fantasy value lies in her scoring. She currently averages 13.0 points, 4.4 rebounds and 1.8 assists across 27.1 minutes.

June 15, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Williams produced a game-high 22 points (8-11 FG, 1-1 3PT, 5-6 FT), to go along with six rebounds and one assist across 29 minutes in Wednesday's tilt against the Liberty.

Williams posted her third consecutive career start on Wednesday and continues to prove to be a offensive threat. With starting guard Alex Bentley temporarily out for EuroBasket, Williams should remain slotted into the starting five. Her first start consisted of a double-double, posting 23 points and 10 rebounds, while her second start allowed her 19 points and six rebounds. While Bentley is overseas, expect Williams to produce similar numbers while being perceived as a valuable fantasy candidate.

June 11, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Williams tallied 19 points (9-20 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 1-1 FT), six rebounds and four assists across 38 minutes during Saturday's 104-71 blowout victory over the Dream.

With starting guard Alex Bentley temporarily absent from the Sun due to her departure for EuroBasket, Williams has gotten two consecutive starting nods and has delivered in impressive fashion. Her first start ended in a 23-point 10-rebound double-double and she didn't disappoint during Saturday's outing either. At this point, it seems like Williams should be considered a legitimate fantasy threat until Bentley ends up returning from overseas.

June 5, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Williams produced a team-high 23 points (10-11 FG, 1-1 3PT) and 10 rebounds across 30 minutes in Saturday's victory over the Stars.

Williams shot 11-for-12 (90 percent) against the Stars, marking Saturday's outlet as her best-shooting performance of the season thus far, along with notching her first double-double of her 2017 campaign. The sophomore out of South Florida is currently averaging 10.6 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 1.3 assists across 24.2 minutes.

May 16, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Williams recorded 18 points (8-14 FG, 2-3 3Pt), five rebounds and one assists in 27 minutes during Saturday's season opener against the Dream.

After a 2016 campaign with the Suns where Williams played just 17 minutes per game, she opened up the 2017 season on a very strong note. Williams managed to score at least 18 points just once over the course of 19 games last season, so her performance Saturday is surely an encouraging sign in her third WNBA season.

May 8, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Williams produced six points, two rebounds, three assists, and one steal during the Sun's 79-57 victory over the Liberty.

During Williams' 2016 career playing on Connecticut, the guard averaged 8.1 points, 3.6 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 0.6 steals within 17.1 minutes per contest.
