PropSwap Picks of the Week

PropSwap Picks of the Week

This article is part of our Betting Promotions series.

Have you ever made a bet at a sportsbook that you later regretted? Did the money line change on you?  Or, conversely, did you bet on a future that suddenly had a great chance at hitting? If so, a secondary marketplace to sell your ticket is available to you!  PropSwap posts your tickets and makes them available via a straight sale or a bidding process. Think of PropSwap as an eBay for sports tickets. Like an item on eBay, you place the ticket on PropSwap, and then people can buy and/or bid on your action.  And, yes, that's right - you can also buy action on the site as well!

The purpose of our weekly article is to take a look at what's available on PropSwap this week and give advice on our best buys. Before you buy anything on PropSwap, be sure to read the fine print. The betting slip will be sent to you via certified mail, so if your ticket wins, you need to be near a licensed sportsbook to cash it in. Although deadlines to cash vary, most sportsbooks' typical expiration date is six months or 180 days from the initial purchase.

NFL

Aaron Rodgers TO WIN NFL MVP Award $150.00

Odds 4.5:1 TO WIN $825.00

Unless you've been living under a rock, you already know how hot the Packers are right now. At 4-0, they are averaging well over 30 points per game, and they're doing it without Davante Adams. Rodgers is dishing the ball out to a cast of no-names, although Robert Tonyan will be the league's DFS darling at tight end moving forward. It wouldn't shock anyone to see the Packers emerge from the NFC Championship to reach the Super Bowl, and making it there would put Rodgers squarely in the MVP conversation.

Seattle Seahawks TO WIN 2020 NFL Championship  $150.00

Odds 5.67:1 TO WIN $1001.00

On paper, Russell Wilson is actually out playing Rodgers, and if his supporting cast of Chris Carson, Tyler Lockett, and DK Metcalf remains healthy, the sky is the limit for the Seahawks.  The odds on this future bet will plummet with every win, and it makes sense to roll with the current line before it's too late.

CFB

Clemson TO WIN 2021 CFB Championship $150.00

Odds 2.7:1 TO WIN $425.00

Ok, admittedly a bit of bias here from this upstate-SC native, but Dabo says this is the best team he's coached -- ever. That may be a lot of hyperbole, and some inexperience at defense needs to be ironed out, but the Tigers will likely get there anyway. This particular bet expires in a day or two, but bets for Clemson will be there.  They face a big test against Miami this weekend, but if they can get past the Hurricanes and Notre Dame, you won't find the same kind of ROI for this bet.

Ohio State TO WIN 2021 CFB CHAMPIONSHIP $110.00

Odds 3.09:1 TO WIN $450.00

Anyone feel like hedging their bets? We've yet to see how the Buckeyes will do, but with Justin Fields at the helm and a heap of returning talent, it's foolish to count them out. To be honest, I like the props for Alabama on the site as well, but the Buckeyes were one interception shy of the big game last year, and depending on their opponent, a rematch with the Tigers in the final is a definite possibility.

MLB

Atlanta Braves TO WIN 2020 World Series $94.44

Odds 3.45:1 TO WIN $420.00

The Braves-Dodgers series will be fun to watch, and the Dodgers playoff curse could once again rear its ugly head. Atlanta's bats are hot right now, and their bullpen is as good as any team in contention. You have to give some credence to LA's rotten luck in the post-season, as their rotation gets notoriously shaky around this time every year.

No offense to some of the sellers out there, but some of the MVP and Cy futures available are downright ridiculous. Kirby Yates to win the NL Cy Young?  You've got to be kidding. I see only one Cy candidate worth the risk on the site.

Gerrit Cole TO WIN 2020 AL Cy Young Award $15.00

Odds 5.67:1 TO WIN $100.00

Shane Bieber is probably the favorite right now, but  Cole is right behind him in strikeouts and one shutout to his credit. The Yankees would have to advance to up his chances, and with Bieber done for the season, Cole could make a case for the trophy if he pitches well.

GOLF

The Masters bets are still out there, and some are more attractive than others.  Rather than list them out in detail, there are attractive tickets out there for Dustin Johnson, Justin Rose and Collin Morikawa. A great punt play is also out there for Louis Oosthuizen at 71-14:1.  He most recently was a T12 at the 2018 Masters and came in second eight years ago.
