PropSwap Picks of the Week: January 2nd-9th

PropSwap Picks of the Week: January 2nd-9th

This article is part of our Betting Promotions series.

Have you ever made a bet at a sportsbook that you later regretted? Did the money line change on you?  Or, conversely, did you bet on a future that suddenly had a great chance at hitting? If so, a secondary marketplace to sell your ticket is available to you!  PropSwap posts your tickets and makes them available via a straight sale or a bidding process. Think of PropSwap as an eBay for sports tickets. Like an item on eBay, you place the ticket on PropSwap, and then people can buy and/or bid on your action.  And, yes, that's right - you can also purchase action on the site as well!

The purpose of our weekly article is to take a look at what's available on PropSwap this week and give advice on our best buys. Before you buy anything on PropSwap, be sure to read the fine print. The betting slip will be sent to you via certified mail, so if your ticket wins, you need to be near a licensed sportsbook to cash it in. Although deadlines to cash vary, most sportsbooks' typical expiration date is six months or 180 days.

Today we'll run through the various sports and recommend a few 'sell' options to consider if you're interested in placing action on the site.

NFL

Dallas Cowboys TO WIN NFC East  $2,681.00

Odds 2.5:1 TO WIN $10,000

The Cowboys now have a shot to take the division with a win and a Washington loss. The latter looks to be a real possibility against the Eagles, and the surging Cowboys have the weapons to beat the Giants this weekend.  Essentially, this is a money-line parlay for a Dallas win and a Washington loss, and I'd take either of those tickets.

Buffalo Bills TO WIN 2021 NFL Championship $500.00

Odds 7.06:1 TO WIN $4,032.00

The Josh Allen-Stefon Diggs connection is the hottest tandem in the league right now.  You could maybe put Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams in the same orbit, but the Bills have something special going. All parts of their team are coming together at the right time.  Their defense is playing well, and their running game has opened up.  The Chiefs are vulnerable at times, and the Bills could play the spoiler for a Kansas City repeat.

NBA

Cole Anthony TO WIN 2021 Rookie of the Year $390.00

Odds 24.38:1 TO WIN $9,898.00

Anthony is one injury away from joining the starting lineup.  He'll have to pass by Anthony Edwards, James Wiseman and perhaps Obi Toppin to get into serious consideration, but it's still early in the season, and the youngster is already making an impact with the second unit.

College Basketball

Texas TO WIN 2021 NCAAB Championship $135.00

Odds 30:1 TO WIN $4,200.00

Rick Barnes fields a quality team year after year, and the same is true for this squad. The Longhorns should get Jase Febres back this week, and he'll join returning senior Matt Coleman and surprise freshman Greg Brown to form the core of this team as they journey through their conference schedule. They're likely on a collision course with Kansas or Baylor in the conference tournament.

TICKET TO BUY/SELL

Every week I will locate a ticket to consider placing on the site. Optimally, you want to sell a ticket that is attractive enough to buy but will probably become less valuable as time goes on. This is why early favorites are so popular on this site.

Jordan Clarkson TO WIN 2021 Sixth Man of the Year (+440)

Clarkson looks like a cinch to win this award right now, but a lot can change in a few months. Lou Williams has always been a popular choice for this award, and with what Derrick Rose has been up to in Detroit, he could get the sentimental vote. This is the right kind of future to look for, as it has excellent potential currently but might prove to be less valuable on your books later in the season.
