One size doesn't fit all, and we could never hope to encompass all league structures, so we have to have a set of base assumptions. Those assumptions are:
- League size of 12 players (either AL or Mixed, we'll specify)
- 5x5 categories
- Each team has a $100 FAAB budget
Jesse Chavez, A's – Chavez is set to start the season third man up in the A's rotation, which gives him some value, considering the park and his command as a reliever. His conversion to a starter is something to watch, as he's only pitched 8.2 innings in two starts as a starter in the majors. As a reliever, he's posted a 5.30 ERA (4.28 xFIP) over 226 innings with a 2.22
