Closer Watch
San Francisco Giants – The defending champs are among the few teams with two proven relievers with closing experience. When Santiago Casilla is unavailable, Sergio Romo steps in with little dropoff. Manager Bruce Bochy has avoided using Casilla recently due to struggles he attributes to a tired arm. When healthy, Casilla is firmly entrenched as the team's ninth inning man. Romo, however, could make for a sneaky play should Casilla's struggles continue.
