Pitcher
Stephen Strasburg, WAS at NYM ($13,300): Strasburg has been a better pitcher on the road this season with a 2.06 ERA, .196 BAA and .248 wOBA allowed over 78.2 innings, along with a 10.64 K/9. He's averaged 17.2 fantasy points in three starts versus the Mets this season, and he's scored 22.5 to 41.1 fantasy points in his last six starts while notching at least seven strikeouts in each.
Hyun-Jin Ryu, LAD vs. SF ($9,100): Following Rich Hill's dominant nine-strikeout outing against them Friday, the Giants now sport a 25.6 percent strikeout rate and .291 wOBA against southpaws on the road in the last month. Ryu has scored 15.1 to 20.7 fantasy points in four of his last five starts, and he dominated the Giants over seven innings his last time he faced them at Dodger Stadium, leading to 26.2 fantasy points. Ryu has also impressed since the All-Star break, posting a 2.36 ERA, .217 BAA and .280 wOBA in 49.2 innings.
Catcher
Kurt Suzuki, ATL vs. PHI ($3,800): Following a two-homer effort Friday, Suzuki now has a .394 wOBA in 53 September plate appearances. He's also sporting a .331 wOBA and 31.8 percent hard contact rate versus righties, while Phillies starter Henderson Alvarez has allowed a .341 wOBA to right-handed hitters over a modest sample.
First Base
Matt Carpenter, STL at PIT ($4,600): Carpenter is one of several left-handed bats who can be deployed against Pirates starter Gerrit Cole and his .338 wOBA (including 18 homers) to lefty batters. Cole also has a 41.0 percent hard-contact rate when facing them at home. Carpenter sports a .385 wOBA, .262 ISO and 43.1 percent hard-contact rate versus righties on the road, while Pirates relievers have also yielded a .347 wOBA to left-handed batters at home in September.
Second Base
Dee Gordon, MIA at ARI ($3,500): Gordon has a .323 wOBA and both of his homers this season off righties and has a season-high .377 wOBA in 84 September plate appearances. He makes for a particularly solid cash game play due to his high contact rate and stolen-base potential, and he draws an appealing matchup versus D-Backs starter Taijuan Walker, who's yielded a .389 wOBA, 5.37 xFIP and 41.1 percent hard-contact rate to lefty bats at Chase Field. He also has a 4.25 BB/9 versus that handedness at home, which could spell trouble against the speedy Gordon.
Third Base
Adrian Beltre, TEX at OAK ($4,200): Beltre's body of work versus lefties on the road includes a .441 wOBA, .286 ISO, 27.3 percent HR/FB rate and 40.0 percent hard contact rate. A's starter Sean Manaea has allowed a .351 wOBA (including 16 homers) to right-handed hitters, along with a 36.9 percent hard-contact rate. He's also yielded a .393 wOBA and has a 5.83 ERA in 58.2 second-half innings.
Shortstop
Freddy Galvis, PHI at ATL ($3,300): Braves starter Julio Teheran has been touched up by lefty bats at SunTrust Park to the tune of a .403 wOBA (including 12 homers), 5.95 xFIP and 39.4 percent hard-contact rate. The switch-hitting Galvis flashes most of his power against righties (10 of 12 homers on the season).
Outfield
Matt Olson, OAK vs. TEX ($5,300): Olson's jaw-dropping September tear includes a .478 wOBA (including 13 homers), .548 ISO and 41.5 percent hard-contact rate, while Rangers starter Miguel Gonzalez has yielded a .392 wOBA, a 6.27 xFIP and a 36.0 percent hard-contact rate to left-handed hitters on the road. He's also allowed a .402 wOBA when throwing his four-seam fastball, a pitch against which Olson owns a .379 wOBA. Rangers relievers also have a 7.54 ERA and have allowed a .330 wOBA to lefty bats on the road in the last month.
J.D. Martinez, ARI vs. MIA ($5,500): Martinez has terrorized lefties at Chase Field since arriving in Arizona, posting a .752 wOBA, .825 ISO, 50.0 percent HR/FB rate and 64.5 percent hard-contact rate. Marlins rookie southpaw Dillon Peters thus makes for an appealing target, as do Marlins relievers, who have a a 6.16 ERA and have allowed a .421 wOBA (including seven homers) to right-handed hitters on the road in September.
Kevin Kiermaier, TAM at BAL ($4,500): Orioles starter Jeremy Hellickson has allowed a .414 wOBA and has an 8.20 ERA in his four starts at Camden Yards, and a .441 wOBA and 10.38 ERA versus the 41 lefty bats he's faced over that stretch. Kiermaier has a .359 wOBA and 35.1 percent hard-contact rate against right-handed pitching, as well as a .372 wOBA overall in 138 second-half plate appearances.
