Tuesday's MLB slate puts starting pitching at the center of our betting card, with three strikeout props offering particularly interesting value.
We're fading one of the National League's most overpowering arms against a dangerous division rival while backing a pair of starters with excellent opportunities to pile up punchouts in favorable matchups.

Chicago Cubs
vs. Milwaukee Brewers
- Jacob Misiorowski Under 8.5 strikeouts (+108, DraftKings)
Misiorowski's extraordinary swing-and-miss ability makes betting against his strikeout production uncomfortable, but nine punchouts represents an aggressive target against one of baseball's better offenses. Chicago enters Tuesday leading MLB with a .770 OPS while ranking among the league's highest-scoring clubs, and the Cubs already handled Misiorowski in his most recent outing, tagging him for five runs and four walks while limiting him to five strikeouts over four innings.
Even if the Brewers ace rebounds from that performance, he can pitch effectively without approaching double-digit punchouts, and the plus-money price makes the under particularly appealing. Misiorowski enters Tuesday 14-5 with a 1.97 ERA and 227 strikeouts across 26 starts this season, an average of 8.7 strikeouts per appearance.

Cincinnati Reds
vs. Los Angeles Dodgers
- Tarik Skubal Over 8.5 strikeouts (-102, FanDuel)
Skubal hasn't produced his usual massive strikeout totals consistently of late, but Tuesday's matchup provides an excellent opportunity for that to change. Cincinnati has struck out in 24.2 percent of its plate appearances against left-handed pitching over the last month, and the Reds just watched Dodgers right-hander Emmet Sheehan rack up 10 punchouts over only 5.2 innings Monday.
Skubal has reached double-digit punchouts just three times this season and remains capable of overwhelming a lineup when his fastball and secondary pitches are working together. At essentially even money, the upside justifies backing another ceiling performance. Skubal enters Tuesday 8-7 with a 2.86 ERA, 0.98 WHIP and 159 strikeouts across 132.1 innings and 22 starts in 2026.

Colorado Rockies
vs. New York Yankees
- Cam Schlittler Over 7.5 strikeouts (-135, BetMGM)
Schlittler gets arguably the most attractive matchup of the three listed in today's piece. The Yankees right-hander has developed into a legitimate frontline starter in his second major-league season, combining excellent run prevention with the strikeout arsenal necessary to attack an over this high. Colorado's struggles away from Coors Field add to the appeal, as the Rockies enter Tuesday just 25-47 on the road.
Schlittler needs eight punchouts to cash, but his ability to work deep into games should provide enough opportunities against a Colorado lineup that can be exploited by high-end power pitching. Schlittler enters Tuesday 12-6 with a 2.04 ERA, 0.94 WHIP and 210 strikeouts over 171.2 innings across 29 starts this season. He'll face a Colorado lineup that has struck out the ninth-most times in 2026.
