Miller had been throwing well over his last four outings so this looks more like a hiccup than anything indicative of his talent. He's normally a strong groundball pitcher but was getting hit around a bit in this one, though he did mange to keep the ball in the yard, something he's been prone to this year. With a decent strikeout rate and reasonable walk rate, he could steadily advance through the Mariners' system, but given their wealth of young starting pitchers within the system, his progress will not be rushed.
