Seidel had been average at best since his promotion to Triple-A, with his two best appearances coming in relief recently. This outing pushed his record to 1-3 with a 4.86 ERA and a 38:11 K:BB over 33.1 innings since being promoted. The 25-year old right-hander has great strikeout potential, but he needs to start missing more bats as hitters are making a fair amount of contact against him. Should he be able to limit the number of runners on base, Seidel would likely see significant improvement overall.
