Past Fantasy Outlooks
2004
2003
With his ridiculous three-year contract from the Brewers now ended, Hammonds can settle into the role he was made to play: fourth outfielder. His body will hold up better, especially with fewer innings in center field. He should be part of a decent platoon with Michael Tucker.
Hammonds had a very productive first half of 2002 before injuries limited him to a dismal second half. He will be a free agent at the end of the season, but the Brewers would love to trade him and his hefty contract before that time.
