2003
Reed surprisingly had one of the worst seasons of his career in 2005 after leaving the thin air of Coors Field, and at 41 he'll be hard-pressed to find steady work in 2006.
With his 40th birthday around the corner, Reed's three straight seasons of 60+ IP may not hold up, but he will be valuable in middle-to-late relief wherever he goes. Reed isn't going to rack up many strikeouts, but he certainly won't hurt your ERA and contributes holds in leagues that count them.
The Rockies let Reed go after the '03 season, as they began their payroll purge, but later re-signed him at a cut-rate price. He's probably got another season or two left in the tank, and should be worth the end-game dollar, if you need a reliever pitcher late in the draft.
A perfectly acceptable late-round end-game pick in deep single-league pools. Keep in mind that his ERA benefited from him pitching in Qualcomm and Shea Stadium.
