Martin logged a career-high 60.1 innings this past year. In an indication as to the scarcity of left-handed relievers, his 5.07 ERA led to another one-year, $800,000 contract. Ignorable.

Martin went from pitcher-friendly Dodger Stadium to pitching coach Leo Mazzone, but even if he remains the only lefty in Atlanta's bullpen, he's not a sure bet to post productive fantasy numbers. Martin improved his K/BB ratio when he moved to Atlanta but left-handers still hit .310 against him on the season.

A great April solidified his role as lead lefty out of the pen, and he was able to parlay his effective 2003 into a two-year contract. The Dodgers would have been better off letting Steve Colyer and Troy Brohawn fill that role while shifting those funds to the offense, but some teams never learn.

Will fight for a bullpen job.
