PBaltimore Orioles  AAA
April 5, 2006
The Orioles signed Perisho, who will spend a few days in the team's minor league facility before likely heading to Triple-A Ottawa, the Washington Post reports.
ANALYSIS
The Orioles are desperate for left-handed arms, so it's not inconceivable that Perisho could make it up to the big club relatively quickly if he puts up a few impressive performances at Ottawa.

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2005
2003
Perisho wasn't awful last year as the Marlins' token bullpen lefty, but he wasn't exactly dependable either. In theory, his second half struggles could be blamed on a hip flexor injury, so he'll likely get a chance to keep the job if he's healthy.
The Devil Rays signed Perisho to a minor-league contract with a spring training NRI for 2003. With the Rays short on left-handed relievers, he has a chance to crack the major-league bullpen in a situational lefty role. He's pitched very well at Triple-A over the past two seasons but fared poorly in limited duty with the Tigers over that span. Even if he makes the big club, it'll be in a low-roto-impact role, so he's probably not worth drafting.
