ANALYSIS
Fultz was an NRI and had an uphill battle to make the team. At least by getting an early cut, he gets a chance of hooking up with another team before the start of the season.

Fultz doesn't really get enough high-leverage innings to help your fantasy team as he's clearly behind Rafael Perez in the left-handed pecking order out of the Cleveland bullpen. A ribcage injury sidelined him for six weeks, but there's nothing really here to get too excited about in a very deep Cleveland bullpen. Without much upside to grab a more significant role his other numbers would have to be lights out to garner much attention and they're not. He'll give you solid, but not spectacular, WHIP and ERA and the emergence of Rafael Perez certainly knocks him down a peg.
Fultz came back to earth after a breakout 2005 season, allowing twice as many earned runs in 2006 while pitching one fewer inning. He still has good control, however, and lefthanders have a long shelf life. Cleveland signed him to a one-year deal. The Indians exercised a $1.5 million option to keep Fultz for 2008 in November of 2007.
Fultz surprisingly had a career year for the Phillies in 2005. The lefthander stifled both lefties and righties and is a good bet to succeed again setting up Tom Gordon.
Fultz, a left-handed reliever, had a mediocre season for the Twins before they left him off the postseason roster and cut him loose. Philadelphia picked him up, but you shouldn't.
A free agent who recently signed with the Twins following a pretty poor season with Texas. Need we say more?
Fultz had struck out 129 batters in 140 innings in 2000-01, but that dropped to just 31 K's in 41 innings in 2002, and the Giants' didn't see fit to put him on their postseason roster. He'll have a middle-inning low-roto-impact role in a major league bullpen, at best, in 2003.
