Franquelis Osoria

Since manager Jim Tracy got canned, it remains to be seen what kind of a future Osoria has within the Pittsburgh organization. Tracy had ties to Osoria when the Pirates claimed him off of waivers from Los Angeles, where Tracy once managed, in December of 2006. The 26-year-old pitched in parts of 25 games with the Pirates, losing a pair of decisions while finishing with a 4.76 ERA. Opposing hitters batted a comfortable .289 against the 26-year-old righty, leaving plenty of room for improvement -- that is, if the Bucs give him another chance. Either way, Osoria doesn't figure to have much of a fantasy future with Pittsburgh or anywhere else, for that matter.
