2008 Fantasy Outlook
Fernandez followed up a solid season at Double-A with an impressive showing in the Arizona Fall League. Despite some rather nice K rates in the minors he doesn't bring electric stuff to the table and perhaps that's why the White Sox left him off the 40-man roster. Selected by the A's in the Rule 5 draft he's a decent bet to stick with them in a middle relief role this season.
