Trystan Magnuson

A name suited for either a soap opera or the next poker pro out of Sweden, Magnuson bounced between Triple-A Sacramento and Oakland for much of the year before being dealt to the Blue Jays during the winter. His size and decent strikeout rates could translate well to a mid-to-late inning relief role, particularly against righties, but his 2011 season was cut short by a bout of shoulder tendinitis. Look for him to join the competition for the Jays' final bullpen spots during spring training upon returning to the club that originally drafted him.
