Top MLB DFS Plays Today
While the math will always lead to a few standout plays, it's important to incorporate the human element as well. Here are the day's top core plays from veteran RotoWire columnist and multi-sport DFS expert Chris Morgan. You can follow Chris on X at @ChrisXMorgan.
Ryan Weathers, NYY at TOR ($8,500): In five of his last six starts, Weathers has allowed one run or fewer. The Blue Jays are in the bottom three in runs scored and team OPS, so there's a decent chance he can make that six starts out of seven.
Francisco Lindor, NYM vs. WAS ($4,700): In the last three weeks, Lindor has a .970 OPS and has hit six home runs. Additionally, since 2024 he has an .866 OPS at home. Jake Irvin has a career 5.04 ERA and 1.59 HR/9 rate, so Lindor may be primed to go yard once again.
Kody Clemens, MIN vs. PHI ($4,600): With a regular role for the first time in his career, Clemens has hit 20 homers and 20 doubles in 107 games. He's actually been okay against his fellow lefties this year, but has been decidedly better at home, where he's slugged .480. Andrew Painter has a 6.27 ERA, and the rookie has allowed lefties to hit .292 against him.
