February 20, 2017
Shibuya re-signed with the Dodgers on a minor league contract, Matt Eddy of Baseball America reports.

The 27-year-old signed with the Dodgers in April last season, and despite some struggles at the Triple-A level, he proved to be a serviceable starter at the lower levels of the minor leagues. However, given his middling track record and inability to get outs against advanced hitters, Shibuya seems destined for an organizational depth role.
