ANALYSIS
Hughston offers a powerful left-handed bat as a draft-eligible sophomore, thanks to his 6-foot-2, 205-pound frame. He moved to right field for Alabama in 2015, and may have the speed necessary to play center, but his arm makes him a better fit for the corners, and left field is the most likely long-term landing spot for him. This spring, Hughston showed improved plate discipline while becoming the cleanup hitter for the Crimson Tide, and he finished his sophomore season hitting .332 with six homers, 44 RBI, and 12 steals over 60 games for Alabama.
